“The first aim of phenomenology is to reawaken a sense of wonder about one’s environment. The Obey sticker attempts to stimulate curiosity and bring people to question both the sticker and their relationship with their surroundings.”

Between 2010 and 2016, Christian was a consistent creative contributor to Obey Clothing, having art directed & designed countless capsule collections and well over 100 individual graphics. Here is a selection of some highlights.

Always a fun brand to work with, Obey’s aesthetics range from punk and outlaw to workwear or the hip hop appropriation of preppy and luxury. Obey has mastered the use of the ironic twist, creating new frames, bringing a freshness to each reference.
